SOUENTOS – Souvenirs y Cuentos – is an artistic workshop and online art shop that creates naïve artworks inspired by nature, art, and folk tradition. The pieces are dedicated to the world of popular traditions, mythological tales of gods and men, ancient masks, archaeology, and folk stories.

The story (in Spanish, "cuento") and the memory (in French, "souvenir") are the key concepts of the entire artistic production.

ILLUSTRATIONS

I am interested in the study of textile and paper fibers, as well as the patterns and textures of nature, which I capture through photography and scanning. I then transform these, using digital techniques, into artistic creations with simple, geometric, naïve lines, aiming to integrate the digital world with the natural one.

PAINT

My painting is not limited to canvases but extends to every surface, with a marked preference for floors. I enjoy creating large painted compositions in the style of Greco-Roman mosaics, bringing a touch of the magic of the past into modern homes.

SOUVENIRS

If the "Cuentos" tell the images of my imagination, the "Souvenirs" are instead dedicated to the place where I live. These are small images, magnets, paintings, and prints that tell the story of the Island of La Palma and the Canary Islands, its flora and fauna, its myths, legends, and attractions. Small, affordable items that are easy to take on a trip as a keepsake. All in the Souentos style.
